Wandering around London

Here we are in front of the Victory Services Club where we stayed in London.

The crowds at Buckingham Palace were crazy.  We decided that there was no way the boys would see the changing of the guards - this is over an hour before that was set to happen and it was already 4 people thick!

Tents such as these surrounded Buckingham Palace - news crews waiting for an announcement of a birth - Prince William and his bride are expecting their first child any day now.

We went to Lambeth Palace and met up briefly with Andrew Nunn a former colleague.  The boys saw where we had worked for a year and were duly impressed :-)  I bet this is the first time Moshi Monsters made an appearance in the dining room.

Here is dear Abi, who we got to catch up with a bit over lunch at the Cafe just outside Lambeth's walls.  It was the first place we grabbed a snack when we first arrived at Lambeth, so a fitting spot :-)

Lots of walking - here we are heading towards Westminster on the bridge.

A postcard like shot of Big Ben and the London Eye.

A bit of a glamour shot

Another warm day - Harry spent the afternoon with a wet cloth on his head and/or around his neck!

Our last big stop for the day was watching the buskers in Covent Garden Markets.  This one did break character when we walked away to (barely) nod his head at me.  Robert put some money in his hat and also reached out and touched his foot.  I am not sure he realized right away that he was a real person.
